Narrative:

I participated in a tour group briefing for a flight from ZZZ, us, to frederick, md, regarding a group route around washington's class B airspace. No mention of ADIZ and I was not familiar with procedure. Flew direct, flying under class B at less than 1000 ft and intercepted by customs H-60. All I would have needed was a VFR flight plan, discrete transponder code, and communication with potomac approach, which we did later and transited class B. Should have personally checked NOTAMS after group briefing.
