Narrative:

Fuel truck near miss taxiing in to gate in bos. When taxiing in to gate at bos at exactly XA39, about to cross painted vehicle roadway just before taxi onto lead-in line, several vehicles on left stopped and no visible vehicles on right, first officer yelled 'fuel truck -- stop!' I jammed on brakes, emergency stop from about 5 KTS ground speed. Fuel truck passed at high speed under nose of aircraft from right to left on the vehicle painted roadway and kept going. We missed him by about 10 ft. Continued into gate and parked. We told ground control, they had us call port operator on a frequency and we reported it to them. No injuries, everyone deplaned normally.
