Narrative:

During the flight from ZZZ1 to ZZZ2 in alaska, I was having difficulty with the aircraft radios -- unable to communicate. At times I could receive but not transmit. I decided to alert ATC by using the appropriate transponder code. I inadvertently squawked 7500 instead of 7600 which initiated an intercept from elmendorf AFB. Unable to communicate. The intercept gave no clear direction as to course or deviation. I rocked the wings and proceeded to ZZZ2 while the intercept circled and made several passes by the aircraft. I landed successfully at ZZZ2.
