Narrative:

As per the fleet status morning report dated jul/thu/03, aircraft noted: aircraft damage, states, found #2 engine outboard core cowl had damage caused by borescope plug S17 missing. Please be advised that borescope plug S20 was only plug to be removed for that inspection on that side of #2 engine. We had no reason to remove S17 'exempt' seized plug S20 then S17 would be removed and an nrc would be generated for S20 and noted in the borescope paperwork. To the best of my knowledge, I do not nor did I have any reason to remove or inspect plug S17 on that day.
