Narrative:

Taxiing eastbound on taxiway a from about the east concourse the intersections of a, B, F, F1 are not adequately marked with signage. Also the airport diagram does not quite depict the actual taxiway layout and islands there. Very confusing especially in fog/low visibility. I advised ground control there was no sign depicting a turn for F1 (our clearance was a , F1, B to runway 1L). His response was 'it's not my job to make the signs.' so I see a potential area of ATC clearance deviation/runway incursion and ATC won't even take the time to report it to airport operations. Does it take an accident/incident/violation to get someone to actually listen to our suggestions on safety concerns?
