Narrative:

As we cleared runway 8R, 3 aircraft were being cleared to cross runway 8L in french. The tower controller spoke in a french accent in rapid fashion to us and we heard cleared to cross and contact ground on 121.97. We read back the crossing clearance we heard and got a reply confirming our readback. As we cleared runway 8L a new voice which spoke in clear english that told us that we had not been cleared to cross the runway. We apologized but the new voice stated that a report would be filed. We never heard hold short or negative from the controller at any time. There was an aircraft in position on runway 8L but he had not been cleared for takeoff. We had been in position during the time that the 3 aircraft had crossed runway 8L. Supplemental information from acn 591582: a clearance to cross runway 8L and contact ground on 121.97 he spoke with a heavy accent and very fast. I read back cleared to cross and contact ground. He read back what we thought was a confirmation of cleared to cross. He did not say negative ever and did not say hold short in a way that was understandable. Supplemental information from acn 591581: there was an airplane holding for takeoff during this time but had nto began takeoff roll.

Title: AFTER LNDG LFPG, A B767 CREW MAY HAVE CROSSED A PARALLEL RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative: AS WE CLRED RWY 8R, 3 ACFT WERE BEING CLRED TO CROSS RWY 8L IN FRENCH. THE TWR CTLR SPOKE IN A FRENCH ACCENT IN RAPID FASHION TO US AND WE HEARD CLRED TO CROSS AND CONTACT GND ON 121.97. WE READ BACK THE XING CLRNC WE HEARD AND GOT A REPLY CONFIRMING OUR READBACK. AS WE CLRED RWY 8L A NEW VOICE WHICH SPOKE IN CLEAR ENGLISH THAT TOLD US THAT WE HAD NOT BEEN CLRED TO CROSS THE RWY. WE APOLOGIZED BUT THE NEW VOICE STATED THAT A RPT WOULD BE FILED. WE NEVER HEARD HOLD SHORT OR NEGATIVE FROM THE CTLR AT ANY TIME. THERE WAS AN ACFT IN POS ON RWY 8L BUT HE HAD NOT BEEN CLRED FOR TKOF. WE HAD BEEN IN POS DURING THE TIME THAT THE 3 ACFT HAD CROSSED RWY 8L. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 591582: A CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 8L AND CONTACT GND ON 121.97 HE SPOKE WITH A HVY ACCENT AND VERY FAST. I READ BACK CLRED TO CROSS AND CONTACT GND. HE READ BACK WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A CONFIRMATION OF CLRED TO CROSS. HE DID NOT SAY NEGATIVE EVER AND DID NOT SAY HOLD SHORT IN A WAY THAT WAS UNDERSTANDABLE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 591581: THERE WAS AN AIRPLANE HOLDING FOR TKOF DURING THIS TIME BUT HAD NTO BEGAN TKOF ROLL.
