Narrative:

We filed IFR through duats for trk-sjc. After departing VFR from trk, we picked up clearance to sjc en route. ZOA controller gave clearance to sfo, golden gate 4 arrival. We pointed out the destination was sjc and controller acknowledged. Golden gate arrival is common to sfo and sjc. We passed sfo VORTAC as normal, but were given vectors abnormal for sjc. After quite a few vectors, we were cleared for sfo approach. We informed norcal about error and it took awhile to sort things out. We were then given long vectors to resequence to sjc. When finally put in sequence, there were 5 aircraft ahead of us. As the error and extensive vectors cut into fuel reserves, we declared low fuel status and were given priority. It appears the original clearance error was never corrected.

Title: C550 IS VECTORED TO SFO IN LIEU OF FILED DEST OF SJC.

Narrative: WE FILED IFR THROUGH DUATS FOR TRK-SJC. AFTER DEPARTING VFR FROM TRK, WE PICKED UP CLRNC TO SJC ENRTE. ZOA CTLR GAVE CLRNC TO SFO, GOLDEN GATE 4 ARR. WE POINTED OUT THE DEST WAS SJC AND CTLR ACKNOWLEDGED. GOLDEN GATE ARR IS COMMON TO SFO AND SJC. WE PASSED SFO VORTAC AS NORMAL, BUT WERE GIVEN VECTORS ABNORMAL FOR SJC. AFTER QUITE A FEW VECTORS, WE WERE CLRED FOR SFO APCH. WE INFORMED NORCAL ABOUT ERROR AND IT TOOK AWHILE TO SORT THINGS OUT. WE WERE THEN GIVEN LONG VECTORS TO RESEQUENCE TO SJC. WHEN FINALLY PUT IN SEQUENCE, THERE WERE 5 ACFT AHEAD OF US. AS THE ERROR AND EXTENSIVE VECTORS CUT INTO FUEL RESERVES, WE DECLARED LOW FUEL STATUS AND WERE GIVEN PRIORITY. IT APPEARS THE ORIGINAL CLRNC ERROR WAS NEVER CORRECTED.
