Narrative:

Taxi problem phl. Leaving runway phl runway 27R we exited at K4. Told by local to turn left on taxiway K, right TA ramp spot X. Called ramp controller and he said ground wanted us to keep going on taxiway K. Went back to ground. Airbus A320 blocking route. Talked to ground and continued on taxiway K. Confusion over exact taxi instructions and who is controling. K4 high speed was blocked by us for a short time while we made sure of taxi instructions. Ramp controller asked us to call FAA tower on land line. I did and we discussed spots and ramp taxi procedures. Supplemental information from acn 589472: after landing phl runway 27R exit K4 we were told by tower to turn left taxiway K, right TA ramp spot X. We called ramp control and they told us to continue on taxiway K and contact ground. When we tried to continue there was an airbus blocking that had just cleared the runway. We were confused about the instructions and where to turn. We turned at taxiway K to join the end of the line going to terminals and called ramp again. Ramp informed us to call FAA via telephone when we were established inbound. We were told that we caused unnecessary congestion by stopping for clarification.
