Narrative:

While on visual approach to runway 30R in msp we were instructed to call the tower on a 5 mi final and maintain 190 KTS until we got there. On about a 6 mi final an airbus was joining runway 30L at our same range to the airport. The airbus overshot his localizer and imposed an RA on us. We had the airbus in sight so the RA instructions were not followed, but we refrained from following the GS until the traffic was clear. By this time we were on a 4 mi final, high, and fast. With the RA to deal with and the increased workload of getting the aircraft into position to land we forgot to call the tower.
