Narrative:

On a commercial student training flight, the student inadvertently raised the gear lever handle on a short field takeoff without the instructor's knowledge. Shortly after rotation I pulled the power on the student and he reacted with an erratic movement (pitched nose up). As the instructor, I took control of the aircraft, lowered the nose for airspeed and flared the aircraft to land, not knowing the student had raised the landing gear. The aircraft landed gear up. The student was briefed before the flight on engine failures during takeoffs.

Narrative: ON A COMMERCIAL STUDENT TRAINING FLT, THE STUDENT INADVERTENTLY RAISED THE GEAR LEVER HANDLE ON A SHORT FIELD TKOF WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTOR'S KNOWLEDGE. SHORTLY AFTER ROTATION I PULLED THE PWR ON THE STUDENT AND HE REACTED WITH AN ERRATIC MOVEMENT (PITCHED NOSE UP). AS THE INSTRUCTOR, I TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT, LOWERED THE NOSE FOR AIRSPD AND FLARED THE ACFT TO LAND, NOT KNOWING THE STUDENT HAD RAISED THE LNDG GEAR. THE ACFT LANDED GEAR UP.
