Narrative:

Phx runways 7L/right notamed closed. On initial contact with ground told to expect runway 8. Asked if runways 7L or 7R was available. Ground instructed us to taxi to runway 7R. Subsequently phx tower cleared us to take off on runway 7R, which we did. Thereafter, phx airport operations questioned our takeoff on runway 7R.
