Narrative:

Flight was planned VFR from orl-srq. That route passes through the disney world tfr (3 NM radius at and below 3000 ft). I am very familiar with the area and the tfr, so I planned on going around the tfr to the north and being at 3000+ ft. I climbed from 1500 ft to 3200 ft as soon as the class B allowed, and picked up the epcot ball many mi out. I know the tfr is from disney world and does not even include epcot. I even had it displayed on GPS. For some reason I thought epcot was disney and flew north of it, which put me just north of disney world. I was higher than 3000 ft when I reached the 3 mi limit, but it was far closer than I would want to be to any tfr. Although I don't believe I entered the tfr, I do think I made an error in thinking epcot was disney. I also had it in my GPS, but at the 50 NM scale, it's hard to judge 3 NM. Next time, I will have a lower scale on the map. Needless to say, I have studied the map very closely, and once again realize that it is easy to get disoriented, even when familiar with the area.

Title: A PA28-161 PLT FLEW INTO THE DISNEY WORLD TFR.

Narrative: FLT WAS PLANNED VFR FROM ORL-SRQ. THAT RTE PASSES THROUGH THE DISNEY WORLD TFR (3 NM RADIUS AT AND BELOW 3000 FT). I AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA AND THE TFR, SO I PLANNED ON GOING AROUND THE TFR TO THE N AND BEING AT 3000+ FT. I CLBED FROM 1500 FT TO 3200 FT AS SOON AS THE CLASS B ALLOWED, AND PICKED UP THE EPCOT BALL MANY MI OUT. I KNOW THE TFR IS FROM DISNEY WORLD AND DOES NOT EVEN INCLUDE EPCOT. I EVEN HAD IT DISPLAYED ON GPS. FOR SOME REASON I THOUGHT EPCOT WAS DISNEY AND FLEW N OF IT, WHICH PUT ME JUST N OF DISNEY WORLD.
