Narrative:
Cruising at 3500 ft MSL, eastbound and a glider/sailplane rose directly in front of me like an elevator. Pilot was about 40 ft in my path and we took evasive action to the right, creating a near mishap. We were inbound to cgt VOR on the 270 degree radial.

Narrative: CRUISING AT 3500 FT MSL, EBOUND AND A GLIDER/SAILPLANE ROSE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME LIKE AN ELEVATOR. PLT WAS ABOUT 40 FT IN MY PATH AND WE TOOK EVASIVE ACTION TO THE R, CREATING A NEAR MISHAP. WE WERE INBOUND TO CGT VOR ON THE 270 DEG RADIAL.
