Narrative:

Aircraft X departed lax on loop departure over dag-las-slc. Aircraft X was west of dag climbing to FL330 out of FL233. Pilot stated he was descending for an 'RA.' pilot also asked if I had traffic for him. I stated, 'no one in your general area.' pilot descended approximately 500 ft. Pilot later stated he had 11:30 O'clock position traffic converging and descending towards him. At one time, his TCASII showed 2 targets. Separation was not lost with any aircraft.

Title: CARJ FLT CREW ADVISE ZLA CTLR THEY HAVE INITIATED AN EVASIVE TCASII MANEUVER DUE TO AN ALERT. NEITHER ZLA NOR THE FLT CREW OBSERVE OR TRACK THE EVENT INITIATOR.

Narrative: ACFT X DEPARTED LAX ON LOOP DEP OVER DAG-LAS-SLC. ACFT X WAS W OF DAG CLBING TO FL330 OUT OF FL233. PLT STATED HE WAS DSNDING FOR AN 'RA.' PLT ALSO ASKED IF I HAD TFC FOR HIM. I STATED, 'NO ONE IN YOUR GENERAL AREA.' PLT DSNDED APPROX 500 FT. PLT LATER STATED HE HAD 11:30 O'CLOCK POS TFC CONVERGING AND DSNDING TOWARDS HIM. AT ONE TIME, HIS TCASII SHOWED 2 TARGETS. SEPARATION WAS NOT LOST WITH ANY ACFT.
