Narrative:

I was working feeder/final position at ind ATCT. The position was busy enough to be decombined. I accepted an overflt at 6000 ft from east departure. The overflt was requesting 10000 ft and a northbound heading. With other overflts and inbounds, I had to turn the overflt nwbound. Northwest of ind airport, I saw a northbound departure climbing north leaving 5000 ft. I turned the overflt to the north to avoid the northbound departure.
