Narrative:

I was in a C152 on a 4 mi final and cleared to land. Tbm announces 6 mi final, ATC advises tbm of C152 on final. Tbm looking for traffic. No more communications until my student yells at me to look up. That's when I saw the tbm about 150 ft descending right above us. I called tower and told him where the tbm was in relation to us. Tower asked tbm if he saw us. Tbm said he had us on TCASII. He was then cleared to land and we were supposed to follow him. Supplemental information from acn 586352: the cessna pilot said the tbm overflew him by less than 100 ft. Through the course of events, the controller had both aircraft in sight.
