Narrative:

On a trip to fredrick, md from N14, nj, broke the ADIZ within 10 NM of baltimore airspace. The most basic factor was radio communication between the aircraft and ATC. Initial squawk code and clearance was provided by potomac approach with a suggested attempt for baltimore control after potomac approach terminated. Several en route attempts to contact baltimore. After initial contact the controller spoke to several other aircraft, not yet re-establishing contact. Realizing en route I could compromise airspace, corrective action was taken but at the time of correction, the violation had occurred. I was notified of the violation, re-established course and continued to destination airport with no events.
