Narrative:

I was using the forklift to move some soap tubs when I was asked to flag an aircraft into the wash rack. I parked the forklift outside of the wash area and proceeded to flag the aircraft. As I flagged the aircraft it hit the left wing. I realized that I had not allowed enough space for the aircraft.

Title: A B737-200 WHILE BEING GUIDED INTO A WASH RACK FACILITY STRUCK A PARKED FORKLIFT TRUCK INCURRING DAMAGE TO THE L OUTBOARD SLAT.

Narrative: I WAS USING THE FORKLIFT TO MOVE SOME SOAP TUBS WHEN I WAS ASKED TO FLAG AN ACFT INTO THE WASH RACK. I PARKED THE FORKLIFT OUTSIDE OF THE WASH AREA AND PROCEEDED TO FLAG THE ACFT. AS I FLAGGED THE ACFT IT HIT THE L WING. I REALIZED THAT I HAD NOT ALLOWED ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE ACFT.
