Narrative:

I was on an IFR flight plan, my first solo in IMC, from wjf to oxr, had done this flight before with an instructor. Socal vectored me off the V386 toward the oxr ILS. The controller asked me to make my best speed to nelly, because I had traffic behind me. So I increased speed and continued on vectors. While in IMC, I temporarily lost control of my altitude and heading. After regaining control, switched to radio frequency of oxr localizer. The remainder of the approach went ok, but I was shaken up. I talked with my friend, who is a cfii, and he agreed to give more training in my aircraft. I need to get much more familiar with my aircraft under a good hood.

Narrative: I WAS ON AN IFR FLT PLAN, MY FIRST SOLO IN IMC, FROM WJF TO OXR, HAD DONE THIS FLT BEFORE WITH AN INSTRUCTOR. SOCAL VECTORED ME OFF THE V386 TOWARD THE OXR ILS. THE CTLR ASKED ME TO MAKE MY BEST SPD TO NELLY, BECAUSE I HAD TFC BEHIND ME. SO I INCREASED SPD AND CONTINUED ON VECTORS. WHILE IN IMC, I TEMPORARILY LOST CTL OF MY ALT AND HDG. AFTER REGAINING CTL, SWITCHED TO RADIO FREQ OF OXR LOC. THE REMAINDER OF THE APCH WENT OK, BUT I WAS SHAKEN UP. I TALKED WITH MY FRIEND, WHO IS A CFII, AND HE AGREED TO GIVE MORE TRAINING IN MY ACFT. I NEED TO GET MUCH MORE FAMILIAR WITH MY ACFT UNDER A GOOD HOOD.
