Narrative:
Received phone patch from flight reporting. They had encountered severe turbulence over cew at FL290. 2 passenger complained of head and neck injuries. Flight requested paramedics meet flight to evaluate passenger. Flight was en route iah-fll. Crew advised ATC had no information of prior reports. They did start vectoring flts around the area after air carrier X made their report to them.

Title: 2 PAX INJURED AFTER AN MD80 FLT ENCOUNTERS SEVERE TURB AT FL290 IN THE VICINITY OF CEW, FL.
Narrative: RECEIVED PHONE PATCH FROM FLT RPTING. THEY HAD ENCOUNTERED SEVERE TURB OVER CEW AT FL290. 2 PAX COMPLAINED OF HEAD AND NECK INJURIES. FLT REQUESTED PARAMEDICS MEET FLT TO EVALUATE PAX. FLT WAS ENRTE IAH-FLL. CREW ADVISED ATC HAD NO INFO OF PRIOR RPTS. THEY DID START VECTORING FLTS AROUND THE AREA AFTER ACR X MADE THEIR RPT TO THEM.
