Narrative:
I was dealing with a new form of equipment when I'd just sat down at the sector. I was trying to get the speed to show in a data block. The sector to my north called about ZDC routing. I then tried to get the answer. I tried to turn 1 aircraft and got no response. Tried to turn aircraft Y, he questioned my turn. Aircraft Y took my FL290 clearance. Aircraft X then took my second clearance.
