Narrative:
On apr/sat/03, XA00 pm, I was flying a pleasure flight with 3 passenger. We departed fullerton airport just after XA30 pm. Our destination was the downtown area to view the lights. At XA55 local, I made a position report on the low level helicopter frequency. I was over city hall nwbound towards the hollywood sign. At that point, a law enforcement helicopter asked me if I was aware of the tfr around dodger stadium. I was not. I quickly moved out of the area. Prior to the flight, I had listened to the tib's, but there was no mention of a tfr. I fly in this area on a regular basis, and feel very comfortable with it. This was the first time I had heard of a tfr being in place over dodger stadium. Upon landing at fullerton, no mention was made of my airspace violation.

Title: A C182 PLT ENTERS THE AREA AROUND DODGER STADIUM, THEREBY VIOLATING THE TFR ISSUED ON THAT AREA, 12 MI NE OF LAX, CA.
Narrative: ON APR/SAT/03, XA00 PM, I WAS FLYING A PLEASURE FLT WITH 3 PAX. WE DEPARTED FULLERTON ARPT JUST AFTER XA30 PM. OUR DEST WAS THE DOWNTOWN AREA TO VIEW THE LIGHTS. AT XA55 LCL, I MADE A POS RPT ON THE LOW LEVEL HELI FREQ. I WAS OVER CITY HALL NWBOUND TOWARDS THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN. AT THAT POINT, A LAW ENFORCEMENT HELI ASKED ME IF I WAS AWARE OF THE TFR AROUND DODGER STADIUM. I WAS NOT. I QUICKLY MOVED OUT OF THE AREA. PRIOR TO THE FLT, I HAD LISTENED TO THE TIB'S, BUT THERE WAS NO MENTION OF A TFR. I FLY IN THIS AREA ON A REGULAR BASIS, AND FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH IT. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD HEARD OF A TFR BEING IN PLACE OVER DODGER STADIUM. UPON LNDG AT FULLERTON, NO MENTION WAS MADE OF MY AIRSPACE VIOLATION.
