Narrative:

Had laser surgery done on apr/wed/03, then flew approximately 6 1/2 hours, (4 flts) with no incident. The doctor who did surgery, and all his staffed knew I was an active airline captain and they told me they do numerous air carrier pilots' eyes. I specifically asked, and was told, no problems. Found out 2 hours ago from an FAA medical designee I was given bad information.
