Narrative:

On landing rollout at ont runway 26L, engines in reverse, I observed a cessna on taxiway left. Tower made a transmission that I couldn't hear due to noise level. I assumed the transmission involved, 'don't turn on taxiway left' due to the cessna. I continued down to taxiway K and turned off the runway. The green turn off lights were illuminated. As it turned out, the taxiway was closed. None of the temporary lights were endangered. Airport operations marshaled us out of the area and we proceeded to the gate. On taxi out for our next leg, we heard tower/ground instructing operations vehicle to turn the temporary lights to bright and to cover the green turn off light because they could not be turned to the 'off' position. Lesson learned: pay close attention to ATIS remarks. Read the airfield NOTAMS more closely.
