Narrative:

Event: potential violation of the dc ADIZ. Route of flight: ilg to W29 to oxb to ilg, generally following the coast line of the delaware peninsula. Preflight: I logged onto commercial flight planning service and clicked the link, 'graphic descriptions of flight restrs.' due to computer connection/speed the pop up box only presented the washington dc metropolitan area specific flight rules area. From this map, it appeared that the flight restr airspace was limited to the class B airspace and the W29 area was not included. Additionally, I called the millville FSS and asked if there were any flight restrs with my route of flight described as 'circling' the delaware peninsula. No restrs were noted or mentioned. My decision, conclusion at this point was that I was ok as long as I stayed out of the class B airspace. Post flight: while talking to another pilot on the ground, he thought I may have violated the airspace (dc ADIZ). I logged back into commercial flight planning service and found by scrolling down, a better picture/graphic was available. The commercial flight planning service website should have separate links for each restr airspace (not combined). The link should define verbal limits of restrs. Currently, I am not 100 percent certain this was an airspace violation. Inform local FSS to mention restr airspace if flight will be in vicinity of restr.

Title: PLT OF PA28 PASSED INTO AND OUT OF DC ADIZ WITHOUT CLRNC AND APPARENTLY NOT DETECTED.

Narrative: EVENT: POTENTIAL VIOLATION OF THE DC ADIZ. RTE OF FLT: ILG TO W29 TO OXB TO ILG, GENERALLY FOLLOWING THE COAST LINE OF THE DELAWARE PENINSULA. PREFLT: I LOGGED ONTO COMMERCIAL FLT PLANNING SERVICE AND CLICKED THE LINK, 'GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF FLT RESTRS.' DUE TO COMPUTER CONNECTION/SPEED THE POP UP BOX ONLY PRESENTED THE WASHINGTON DC METRO AREA SPECIFIC FLT RULES AREA. FROM THIS MAP, IT APPEARED THAT THE FLT RESTR AIRSPACE WAS LIMITED TO THE CLASS B AIRSPACE AND THE W29 AREA WAS NOT INCLUDED. ADDITIONALLY, I CALLED THE MILLVILLE FSS AND ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY FLT RESTRS WITH MY RTE OF FLT DESCRIBED AS 'CIRCLING' THE DELAWARE PENINSULA. NO RESTRS WERE NOTED OR MENTIONED. MY DECISION, CONCLUSION AT THIS POINT WAS THAT I WAS OK AS LONG AS I STAYED OUT OF THE CLASS B AIRSPACE. POST FLT: WHILE TALKING TO ANOTHER PLT ON THE GND, HE THOUGHT I MAY HAVE VIOLATED THE AIRSPACE (DC ADIZ). I LOGGED BACK INTO COMMERCIAL FLT PLANNING SERVICE AND FOUND BY SCROLLING DOWN, A BETTER PICTURE/GRAPHIC WAS AVAILABLE. THE COMMERCIAL FLT PLANNING SERVICE WEBSITE SHOULD HAVE SEPARATE LINKS FOR EACH RESTR AIRSPACE (NOT COMBINED). THE LINK SHOULD DEFINE VERBAL LIMITS OF RESTRS. CURRENTLY, I AM NOT 100 PERCENT CERTAIN THIS WAS AN AIRSPACE VIOLATION. INFORM LCL FSS TO MENTION RESTR AIRSPACE IF FLT WILL BE IN VICINITY OF RESTR.
