Narrative:

Work release was issued to accomplish job card X-10-1, wbl 355 (wing buttock line), spindle position (xbl) and accomplish job card X-10-2, wbl 254, spindle position (ibl). When in fact, job X-10-1, step 2, reads, 'inboard (wbd 254) spindle position (ibl), and job card X-10-2, step 2 reads 'outboard (wbl 355) spindle position (xbl). Fortunately, both left and right inboard and outboard spindles are covered under pci X (illustrated parts catalog). Inspector had accomplished 2 aircraft prior to noticing the incorrect job card numbers.
