Narrative:

While taxiing to runway 19 for departure at frg, mistakenly took 'runway 19 approach' sign for end of runway. When a right turn was made onto the runway, the aircraft was taxied across the chevrons just before the runway. The aircraft was taxied to the threshold and the takeoff was commenced. No words were exchanged between the tower and the aircraft relating to the taxi. The runway 19 approach sign at the end of the taxiway was what confused the taxi. The thought was that was another entrance to the runway.
