Narrative:

Had mechanical problem at FL250 low left hydraulic quantity. Resulted in loss of left hydraulic press, followed with flap and gear problems. Extended gear and flaps using alternate method, with 8200 pounds of fuel remaining and traffic very busy, decided to declare emergency to prevent critical fuel situation from developing. I had decided about 10 min prior to this point, to divert from ZZZ1 destination to ZZZ destination for longer runway. Landed normally.
