Narrative:

We were given the deauville 3W arrival to merue, landing west at cdg. After passing deauville, we were given numerous deviations to the arrival, vectors up to 30 degrees off course, alternate altitudes and speeds. We were given direct to merue to hold when 1.5 NM from the fix. We were not given 'hold as published' -- merely hold with an efc of about 8 mins from the present time. All 3 pilots had been preparing for a CAT III approach and landing at cdg. We had transitioned from using page 20-2D at cdg to using page 20-2J. Page 20-2D depicts a nonstandard left turn holding pattern at merue. Page 20-2J does not show a holding pattern at merue. We entered a standard holding on the inbound heading of 101 degrees inbound course. After 1 turn in holding, we were directed to merue and to proceed on course. Shortly after passing merue fix, we were again vectored off the published procedure for landing on runway 27L. No mention of any deviation was made by ATC until after landing when we were asked by ground control if we had had a problem at merue. It wasn't until the next day that we realized there was a published holding pattern at merue on the 20-2D page. We contacted ATC the next day from operations and they were unaware of any violation being pursued. The holding pattern needs to be published on both pages or the controller needed to say 'hold as published' or given us holding instructions.

Title: B767 FLC EXECUTES WRONG HOLDING PATTERN DURING APCH TO LFPG.

Narrative: WE WERE GIVEN THE DEAUVILLE 3W ARR TO MERUE, LNDG W AT CDG. AFTER PASSING DEAUVILLE, WE WERE GIVEN NUMEROUS DEVS TO THE ARR, VECTORS UP TO 30 DEGS OFF COURSE, ALTERNATE ALTS AND SPDS. WE WERE GIVEN DIRECT TO MERUE TO HOLD WHEN 1.5 NM FROM THE FIX. WE WERE NOT GIVEN 'HOLD AS PUBLISHED' -- MERELY HOLD WITH AN EFC OF ABOUT 8 MINS FROM THE PRESENT TIME. ALL 3 PLTS HAD BEEN PREPARING FOR A CAT III APCH AND LNDG AT CDG. WE HAD TRANSITIONED FROM USING PAGE 20-2D AT CDG TO USING PAGE 20-2J. PAGE 20-2D DEPICTS A NONSTANDARD L TURN HOLDING PATTERN AT MERUE. PAGE 20-2J DOES NOT SHOW A HOLDING PATTERN AT MERUE. WE ENTERED A STANDARD HOLDING ON THE INBOUND HDG OF 101 DEGS INBOUND COURSE. AFTER 1 TURN IN HOLDING, WE WERE DIRECTED TO MERUE AND TO PROCEED ON COURSE. SHORTLY AFTER PASSING MERUE FIX, WE WERE AGAIN VECTORED OFF THE PUBLISHED PROC FOR LNDG ON RWY 27L. NO MENTION OF ANY DEV WAS MADE BY ATC UNTIL AFTER LNDG WHEN WE WERE ASKED BY GND CTL IF WE HAD HAD A PROB AT MERUE. IT WASN'T UNTIL THE NEXT DAY THAT WE REALIZED THERE WAS A PUBLISHED HOLDING PATTERN AT MERUE ON THE 20-2D PAGE. WE CONTACTED ATC THE NEXT DAY FROM OPS AND THEY WERE UNAWARE OF ANY VIOLATION BEING PURSUED. THE HOLDING PATTERN NEEDS TO BE PUBLISHED ON BOTH PAGES OR THE CTLR NEEDED TO SAY 'HOLD AS PUBLISHED' OR GIVEN US HOLDING INSTRUCTIONS.
