Narrative:

We left the gate at ind, exited point 2, turned onto taxiway D then taxiway D1. Tower then cleared us onto runway 23L to hold to wait for traffic to clear runway 23L. After entering the runway, parking brake was set. When tower cleared us for takeoff, power was added. At this point captain realized parking brake was still on. He then turned the parking brake off. The plane immediately started a sharp turn to the left, then right. I then commented 'something is wrong here.' we then turned right again. I then said 'let's abort.' our 4TH turn was now back to the left at a 45 degree angle and 20-25 ft from the edge of the runway. I then said, 'abort, abort.' power was now retarded by the captain and we exited taxiway D4 to ramp. We were cleared to gate. The fishtailing on runway 23L was probably due to patchy ice on the runway. As we entered the ramp, I commented that there were no persons to guide us to the gate. Again, no response. Mechanic entered the crew door with engine running. I said, 'this is not safe.' again, no response. Mechanic was explained the situation. He then went out to check the brakes. After a few mins, mechanic returned to cockpit and said nothing was wrong. We exited again off the ramp for a runway 23L departure. Comment: captain under stress and brakedown of CRM and safety.

Title: FO RPT OF THE LOSS OF ACFT CTL ON RWY WITH A SUBSEQUENT ABORTED TKOF WITH F27 CARGO PIC AS PF DURING AN ATTEMPTED PWR UP TKOF AT IND, IN.

Narrative: WE LEFT THE GATE AT IND, EXITED POINT 2, TURNED ONTO TXWY D THEN TXWY D1. TWR THEN CLRED US ONTO RWY 23L TO HOLD TO WAIT FOR TFC TO CLR RWY 23L. AFTER ENTERING THE RWY, PARKING BRAKE WAS SET. WHEN TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF, PWR WAS ADDED. AT THIS POINT CAPT REALIZED PARKING BRAKE WAS STILL ON. HE THEN TURNED THE PARKING BRAKE OFF. THE PLANE IMMEDIATELY STARTED A SHARP TURN TO THE L, THEN R. I THEN COMMENTED 'SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE.' WE THEN TURNED R AGAIN. I THEN SAID 'LET'S ABORT.' OUR 4TH TURN WAS NOW BACK TO THE L AT A 45 DEG ANGLE AND 20-25 FT FROM THE EDGE OF THE RWY. I THEN SAID, 'ABORT, ABORT.' PWR WAS NOW RETARDED BY THE CAPT AND WE EXITED TXWY D4 TO RAMP. WE WERE CLRED TO GATE. THE FISHTAILING ON RWY 23L WAS PROBABLY DUE TO PATCHY ICE ON THE RWY. AS WE ENTERED THE RAMP, I COMMENTED THAT THERE WERE NO PERSONS TO GUIDE US TO THE GATE. AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. MECH ENTERED THE CREW DOOR WITH ENG RUNNING. I SAID, 'THIS IS NOT SAFE.' AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. MECH WAS EXPLAINED THE SIT. HE THEN WENT OUT TO CHK THE BRAKES. AFTER A FEW MINS, MECH RETURNED TO COCKPIT AND SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. WE EXITED AGAIN OFF THE RAMP FOR A RWY 23L DEP. COMMENT: CAPT UNDER STRESS AND BRAKEDOWN OF CRM AND SAFETY.
