Narrative:

An engine failure on the right engine occurred at FL200. No abnormal engine indications were noted and no engine limitations were exceeded. There was still propeller rotation after the failure occurred. The propeller was feathered and the engine was secured. As a precaution, the firewall fuel valve on the right engine was closed. An emergency was declared. Received vectors to publication. Due to the situation, publication was deemed as the closest suitable airfield for an emergency landing because of availability of airport rescue equipment and medical facilities. Prior to declaring the emergency, an engine restart was attempted with no effect. Instrument conditions (500 ft, broken ceiling) at publication required an ILS approach. A single engine landing was accomplished without further incident. After a maintenance inspection, it was determined that failure of the engine-driven fuel pump resulted in oil loss, causing turbocharger failure. There was a minimal amount of oil left in the oil system which allowed adequate oil pressure to be indicated. No abnormal fuel pressure was noted, due to the stand-by electric boost pumps operating.

Title: A PA31-310 PLT RPTED ENG PROBS TO ZDV, DECLARED AN EMER, AND LANDED AT PUB.

Narrative: AN ENG FAILURE ON THE R ENG OCCURRED AT FL200. NO ABNORMAL ENG INDICATIONS WERE NOTED AND NO ENG LIMITATIONS WERE EXCEEDED. THERE WAS STILL PROP ROTATION AFTER THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE PROP WAS FEATHERED AND THE ENG WAS SECURED. AS A PRECAUTION, THE FIREWALL FUEL VALVE ON THE R ENG WAS CLOSED. AN EMER WAS DECLARED. RECEIVED VECTORS TO PUB. DUE TO THE SIT, PUB WAS DEEMED AS THE CLOSEST SUITABLE AIRFIELD FOR AN EMER LNDG BECAUSE OF AVAILABILITY OF ARPT RESCUE EQUIP AND MEDICAL FACILITIES. PRIOR TO DECLARING THE EMER, AN ENG RESTART WAS ATTEMPTED WITH NO EFFECT. INST CONDITIONS (500 FT, BROKEN CEILING) AT PUB REQUIRED AN ILS APCH. A SINGLE ENG LNDG WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AFTER A MAINT INSPECTION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT FAILURE OF THE ENG-DRIVEN FUEL PUMP RESULTED IN OIL LOSS, CAUSING TURBOCHARGER FAILURE. THERE WAS A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF OIL LEFT IN THE OIL SYS WHICH ALLOWED ADEQUATE OIL PRESSURE TO BE INDICATED. NO ABNORMAL FUEL PRESSURE WAS NOTED, DUE TO THE STAND-BY ELECTRIC BOOST PUMPS OPERATING.
