Narrative:

B757 fleet at air carrier X airline is currently operating under airworthiness directive 2002-19-52 for center fuel tank pumps. The airworthiness directive requires 1000 pounds minimum in center tank at all times. Problem occurs on shorter flts when wing tanks are not full. Sometimes the aircraft fuelers put more than 2000 pounds (or, it transfers unintentionally) in the center tank with the wing tanks not full. After departing in such a situation, I remembered per the 757 aom (aircraft operating manual), that is an illegal fuel load. Wing tanks must be full with more than 2000 pounds in center tank.

Narrative: B757 FLEET AT ACR X AIRLINE IS CURRENTLY OPERATING UNDER AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE 2002-19-52 FOR CTR FUEL TANK PUMPS. THE AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE REQUIRES 1000 LBS MINIMUM IN CTR TANK AT ALL TIMES. PROB OCCURS ON SHORTER FLTS WHEN WING TANKS ARE NOT FULL. SOMETIMES THE ACFT FUELERS PUT MORE THAN 2000 LBS (OR, IT TRANSFERS UNINTENTIONALLY) IN THE CTR TANK WITH THE WING TANKS NOT FULL.
