Narrative:

We were loaded with 29 passenger and bag weights of 1290 pounds in C1 and 489 pounds in C2. This put us at a ramp weight of 29276 pounds. After blocking out, ramp had us call load room. The load room informed us we actually had 50 pounds more in C2 for a total of 539 pounds. This put us over maximum ramp weight for the SF3. Maintenance and the chief pilot's office was contacted concerning a write-up for maintenance to check the aircraft since we exceeded a limitation. Both parties stated that an inspection was not required. We returned to the gate, took off 1 passenger, and completed the flight.
