Narrative:

Approximately 50 NM out of ZZZ. En route from ZZZ1, us, EICAS warning message oil low pressure. Followed QRH and shut #2 engine down. 4 people on board. Pilot, copilot, flight attendant, mechanic. Had mechanic situation in jumpseat for possible advisories. Declared emergency, landed uneventfully at kpit, with no further incidence. After running checklist -- trouble-shoot with available system pages on multifunction display. Noticed oil quantity dropping from 5 quarts to 3 quarts. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the #2 engine driven hydraulic pump was replaced prior to departure of the positioning ferry. The reporter said following the quick reference handbook, the engine was shut down in flight. The reporter stated the loss of engine oil was caused by a damaged hydraulic pump drive seal, possibly during installation.

Title: A EMBRAER 145 IN CRUISE AT 16000 FT DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO LOSS OF OIL IN #2 ENG. CAUSED BY AN ENG DRIVEN HYD PUMP DAMAGED DRIVE SEAL.

Narrative: APPROX 50 NM OUT OF ZZZ. ENRTE FROM ZZZ1, US, EICAS WARNING MESSAGE OIL LOW PRESSURE. FOLLOWED QRH AND SHUT #2 ENG DOWN. 4 PEOPLE ON BOARD. PLT, COPLT, FLT ATTENDANT, MECH. HAD MECH SIT IN JUMPSEAT FOR POSSIBLE ADVISORIES. DECLARED EMER, LANDED UNEVENTFULLY AT KPIT, WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENCE. AFTER RUNNING CHKLIST -- TROUBLE-SHOOT WITH AVAILABLE SYS PAGES ON MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAY. NOTICED OIL QUANTITY DROPPING FROM 5 QUARTS TO 3 QUARTS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE #2 ENG DRIVEN HYD PUMP WAS REPLACED PRIOR TO DEP OF THE POSITIONING FERRY.
