Narrative:

I got taxi instructions to repos aircraft to main ramp to pick up a passenger. We were to take taxiway D, hold short of runway 6. The other pilot started to taxi and the closest way was to taxi down runway 6, which we did. By the time I realized my error, we were holding short of the active runways (runway 30 and runway 34). Ground did not catch our error. I should have paid better attention to what I was doing and should have been more serious about taxiing across the airport. I was too lax, and did not have the airport chart out, nor did I confirm with the pilot what we were supposed to do.
