Narrative:

After exiting runway 26 after the ILS approach, we switched to tower after landing with the guard frequency. Tower told us to monitor ground and asked our flight conditions. We replied with cloud bottoms and rime ice. As we taxied across the other runway (runway 30), they inquired about breaking action and cloud tops. After answering, we were on our ramp. Several hours later, I realized we taxied across runway 30 without specific clearance to do so. Tower knew where we were going, as did we. However, we did taxi across without clearance, because of our conversation with tower. Perhaps these reports should be given to ground and relayed to tower.

Title: AN EMB120 FLT CREW CROSSES RWY 30 ON THEIR TAXI IN, AND THE FO, RPTR, COULD NOT REMEMBER RECEIVING A CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 30 FROM TWR OR GND AT CYS, WY.

Narrative: AFTER EXITING RWY 26 AFTER THE ILS APCH, WE SWITCHED TO TWR AFTER LNDG WITH THE GUARD FREQ. TWR TOLD US TO MONITOR GND AND ASKED OUR FLT CONDITIONS. WE REPLIED WITH CLOUD BOTTOMS AND RIME ICE. AS WE TAXIED ACROSS THE OTHER RWY (RWY 30), THEY INQUIRED ABOUT BREAKING ACTION AND CLOUD TOPS. AFTER ANSWERING, WE WERE ON OUR RAMP. SEVERAL HRS LATER, I REALIZED WE TAXIED ACROSS RWY 30 WITHOUT SPECIFIC CLRNC TO DO SO. TWR KNEW WHERE WE WERE GOING, AS DID WE. HOWEVER, WE DID TAXI ACROSS WITHOUT CLRNC, BECAUSE OF OUR CONVERSATION WITH TWR. PERHAPS THESE RPTS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO GND AND RELAYED TO TWR.
