Narrative:

Runway 28R traffic, having accepted the visual and out of sight and behind us (runway 28L), passed us up on final and should have been violated. Before sighting the traffic for runway 28R, we got a TA/RA and initially and properly flew the red trapezoid. I was about to initiate a go around, but finally sighted traffic passing us up, turned off the TCASII and continued to the airport. The copilot was flying and at no time did he indicate to me that he was 'flying the traffic's wing.' the foregoing distraction resulted in an incomplete final checklist, although all items were complete.
