Narrative:

During korry 2 arrival approaching brand intersection, we set 11000 ft for the restr. At that same time, we must have bumped the altitude wheel because we lost the 11000 ft arm and 10000 ft became armed. This resulted in our descending below 11000 ft prior to brand. Restr is at or above 11000 ft at brand. We were level at 10000 ft at the mandatory 10000 ft korry restr. No excuses -- just missed it during a busy arrival. We could have brought the FMS into our xchk more often which would have also reinforced our position being outside brand and descending.

Title: MD80 FLC ACCIDENTALLY SET 10000 FT INSTEAD OF 11000 FT AND DSNDED BELOW RESTR ALT ON AN ARR.

Narrative: DURING KORRY 2 ARR APCHING BRAND INTXN, WE SET 11000 FT FOR THE RESTR. AT THAT SAME TIME, WE MUST HAVE BUMPED THE ALT WHEEL BECAUSE WE LOST THE 11000 FT ARM AND 10000 FT BECAME ARMED. THIS RESULTED IN OUR DSNDING BELOW 11000 FT PRIOR TO BRAND. RESTR IS AT OR ABOVE 11000 FT AT BRAND. WE WERE LEVEL AT 10000 FT AT THE MANDATORY 10000 FT KORRY RESTR. NO EXCUSES -- JUST MISSED IT DURING A BUSY ARR. WE COULD HAVE BROUGHT THE FMS INTO OUR XCHK MORE OFTEN WHICH WOULD HAVE ALSO REINFORCED OUR POS BEING OUTSIDE BRAND AND DSNDING.
