Narrative:

Taxiing out of air carrier ramp. Requested runway 9R. Was approved to taxi to runway 9R. I crossed runway 9L and held short of runway 9R. The ground controller then told me to hold short of runway 9L. I advised him that I had already crossed that runway and was holding short of runway 9R. He then said that he cleared me to taxi to runway 9L. I said nothing. Rechked with my first officer to verify what runway I was assigned. He said runway 9R.

Narrative: TAXIING OUT OF ACR RAMP. REQUESTED RWY 9R. WAS APPROVED TO TAXI TO RWY 9R. I CROSSED RWY 9L AND HELD SHORT OF RWY 9R. THE GND CTLR THEN TOLD ME TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 9L. I ADVISED HIM THAT I HAD ALREADY CROSSED THAT RWY AND WAS HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 9R. HE THEN SAID THAT HE CLRED ME TO TAXI TO RWY 9L. I SAID NOTHING. RECHKED WITH MY FO TO VERIFY WHAT RWY I WAS ASSIGNED. HE SAID RWY 9R.
