Narrative:

CL65 landed on runway 8L in atl, exited the runway and was slowly taxiing on taxiway B toward taxiway D. We were cleared to expedite taxi and cross runway 8R on taxiway D by the tower and to continue taxi to taxiway F. As we rolled across runway 8R, we looked left and right for traffic seeing none. The logo lights, beacon, navigation lights, strobe lights and recognition/taxi lights were all on. We crossed runway 8R on taxiway D, switched to ground control frequency and heard a voice say, 'aircraft crossing taxiway D, stop.' we immediately stopped. Then out of darkness, a landing light beamed on my left. It was attached to the nose gear of a B737. No contact was made between the 2 aircraft. B737 was on taxiway east (with the intention of crossing taxiway D to continue taxi on taxiway east, I suppose). Later, I called ground control on the telephone. The controller said and I quote, 'you were not at fault.' 'the B737 airplane was taxiing at an excessive speed,' and that they were going to have a conversation with him. I had all required lights on for taxiing across an active runway, plus extra lights. Why B737 almost rammed me from the side, I don't know, because I had all these lights on. I looked to my left and saw no aircraft, or aircraft lights. Pilots need to use what lights they have at their disposal. (There have been many times when I have seen many major airline carriers with no logo lights on. Why do they do this?). I followed my taxi clearance and could not see 737 in the darkness.

Title: AFTER LNDG AT ATL, A CL65 CREW HAS A NEAR COLLISION WITH A FAST TAXIING B737.

Narrative: CL65 LANDED ON RWY 8L IN ATL, EXITED THE RWY AND WAS SLOWLY TAXIING ON TXWY B TOWARD TXWY D. WE WERE CLRED TO EXPEDITE TAXI AND CROSS RWY 8R ON TXWY D BY THE TWR AND TO CONTINUE TAXI TO TXWY F. AS WE ROLLED ACROSS RWY 8R, WE LOOKED L AND R FOR TFC SEEING NONE. THE LOGO LIGHTS, BEACON, NAV LIGHTS, STROBE LIGHTS AND RECOGNITION/TAXI LIGHTS WERE ALL ON. WE CROSSED RWY 8R ON TXWY D, SWITCHED TO GND CTL FREQ AND HEARD A VOICE SAY, 'ACFT XING TXWY D, STOP.' WE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED. THEN OUT OF DARKNESS, A LNDG LIGHT BEAMED ON MY L. IT WAS ATTACHED TO THE NOSE GEAR OF A B737. NO CONTACT WAS MADE BTWN THE 2 ACFT. B737 WAS ON TXWY E (WITH THE INTENTION OF XING TXWY D TO CONTINUE TAXI ON TXWY E, I SUPPOSE). LATER, I CALLED GND CTL ON THE TELEPHONE. THE CTLR SAID AND I QUOTE, 'YOU WERE NOT AT FAULT.' 'THE B737 AIRPLANE WAS TAXIING AT AN EXCESSIVE SPD,' AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM. I HAD ALL REQUIRED LIGHTS ON FOR TAXIING ACROSS AN ACTIVE RWY, PLUS EXTRA LIGHTS. WHY B737 ALMOST RAMMED ME FROM THE SIDE, I DON'T KNOW, BECAUSE I HAD ALL THESE LIGHTS ON. I LOOKED TO MY L AND SAW NO ACFT, OR ACFT LIGHTS. PLTS NEED TO USE WHAT LIGHTS THEY HAVE AT THEIR DISPOSAL. (THERE HAVE BEEN MANY TIMES WHEN I HAVE SEEN MANY MAJOR AIRLINE CARRIERS WITH NO LOGO LIGHTS ON. WHY DO THEY DO THIS?). I FOLLOWED MY TAXI CLRNC AND COULD NOT SEE 737 IN THE DARKNESS.
