Narrative:

Aircraft was parked in the jfk ramp. Parking brake was set and wheels chocked. No passenger on board aircraft. We had been towed into parking due to ice. We were preparing for the flight to bos when the aircraft boarding stairs were struck by a passenger bus, driving the stairs into the side of the aircraft fuselage. The aircraft was displaced from its parked position to the right approximately 1 1/2 - 3 ft. Base operations was immediately contacted. There were no injuries apparent at the time. After exiting the aircraft, damage was noted in front of and behind the passenger door. The door was closed at the time of the event. Factors contributing to the event were the icy ramp conditions.

Title: EMJ145 ACFT IS STRUCK BY A BUS WHILE PARKED ON THE RAMP AT KJFK.

Narrative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
