Narrative:
On takeoff climb from runway 9L at ZZZ, a high oil temperature was observed. I requested a priority landing and received the option to land on any runway. I landed runway 18 with the immediate taxi off to the ramp. Upon further inspection, the safety wire pigtail from the oil filter safety wire was grounding out the temperature bulb. I am the a&P mechanic for the aircraft and simply re-safetied it.
