Narrative:

Flight was cleared to 10000 ft MSL on runway heading after takeoff on runway 23L ind. At approximately 3800 ft MSL, we received a TCASII RA resolution. Target was located at 4 mi +500 ft on the navigation display and approaching rapidly. Departure reported traffic and gave no flight directives. I advised captain to turn left because I could not pick up traffic due to flight conditions. I advised departure of our left turn to avoid traffic. He answered that he had called out traffic to us (???). Departure said traffic was a C182, VFR and at 4500 ft MSL. Please see my additional report on aug/fri/02 which was a similar occurrence after takeoff from ind.
