Narrative:
Cleared for RNAV approach. First officer (me) mistakenly programmed autoplt to descend to decision altitude vice initial approach altitude. After low altitude alert from tower, autoplt was selected off and aircraft flown up to intercept glide path. Uneventful landing.

Narrative: CLRED FOR RNAV APCH. FO (ME) MISTAKENLY PROGRAMMED AUTOPLT TO DSND TO DECISION ALT VICE INITIAL APCH ALT. AFTER LOW ALT ALERT FROM TWR, AUTOPLT WAS SELECTED OFF AND ACFT FLOWN UP TO INTERCEPT GLIDE PATH. UNEVENTFUL LNDG.
