Narrative:
I had just landed at the airport and was given clearance to turn right on next taxiway and hold short of runway 5. I then requested to taxi to the south area of the airport. The tower controller said to turn right at taxiway D and hold short of runway 5. I turned onto taxiway D, and then allowed the passenger to taxi the airplane. I was explaining how to do this and allowed the plane to go past the hold short line for runway 5. The tower reminded me to hold short. I just forgot I was to hold short of runway 5.

Title: PIPER PA180 PLT OVERSHOT RWY HOLD SHORT LINE DUE TO DISTR OF MONITORING HIS PAX'S TAXIING OF THE ACFT.
Narrative: I HAD JUST LANDED AT THE ARPT AND WAS GIVEN CLRNC TO TURN R ON NEXT TAXIWAY AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 5. I THEN REQUESTED TO TAXI TO THE S AREA OF THE ARPT. THE TWR CTLR SAID TO TURN R AT TXWY D AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 5. I TURNED ONTO TXWY D, AND THEN ALLOWED THE PAX TO TAXI THE AIRPLANE. I WAS EXPLAINING HOW TO DO THIS AND ALLOWED THE PLANE TO GO PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 5. THE TWR REMINDED ME TO HOLD SHORT. I JUST FORGOT I WAS TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 5.
