Narrative:

Maintenance troubleshooting autobrake system which requires brakes to be released. Chocks in place before brakes released. Maintenance working on problem and the push-out crew removed chocks to hook the tug. The airplane then started to move. The airplane was chocked and the brakes were released as maintenance was doing their checks. The push-out crew came along and removed the chocks and rolled, unknown to me, and was stopped by the forward entry door. No contact was made by the ground crew and they did not look at the brake light on the nose gear to see if the brakes were parked. Supplemental information from acn 561333: the ground crew removed the chocks without notifying the cockpit or maintenance. The aircraft rolled and was stopped when it contacted the jet bridge.
