Narrative:

As we began takeoff roll, a little shudder was felt, but nothing else after did not seem unusual. A half hour into flight, flight attendant #1 advises me (#2) that there is a situation. Captain will get back to us. 5-10 mins later, captain gives flight attendant #1, then to us our information: type of emergency, evacuate/evacuation, possible time left. We had lost a tire on takeoff. We were to do a planned evacuate/evacuation preparation. The captain made a PA to passenger, explained situation to passenger, what we were doing, etc. We, flight attendants, did our planned emergency checklist, reseated passenger to forward part of aircraft. Only 29 passenger, so everyone was forward of window exits. 2 uniformed commuter pilots sat at 2 window exits, passenger at 3RD, and I (#2) moved to other aft window exit. No exit at back. A third commuter flight attendant sat on #3 jump seat. All passenger calm, asked about connecting flts, so not worried. We did a low fly-by for the tower. Came back around, landed perfectly -- no problems. Ramp stands were brought over, passenger deplaned. Lots of emergency equipment. We were towed to gate. Flight service debriefed us. Flight attendants continued on to our next flight. Pilots were debriefed by their chief pilot and were removed from the next leg.
