Narrative:

I was at the B1 intersection awaiting departure on runway 36. I was told by tower controller to taxi 'position and hold on runway 36, hold short of runway 4 for departing traffic.' due to the location of the B1 intersection, as soon as I taxied onto runway 36, I was immediately 100 ft past the hold short line. I stopped immediately and waited for the traffic on runway 4 to depart. The departure of the traffic from runway 4 was uneventful and my departure was uneventful. I spoke to the tower, the following day, and they admitted it was their error to clear me onto the runway.
