Narrative:
Ord ground advised us to taxi to runway 4L via txwys a, A7, J, west, runway 4L. We were on taxiway west and tower cleared us into position and hold runway 4L. While we were in position, tower asked if that was us on runway 4L. We said yes. Then he replied, 'I thought I told you runway 9L,' then he cleared us for takeoff on runway 4L.

Narrative: ORD GND ADVISED US TO TAXI TO RWY 4L VIA TXWYS A, A7, J, W, RWY 4L. WE WERE ON TXWY W AND TWR CLRED US INTO POS AND HOLD RWY 4L. WHILE WE WERE IN POS, TWR ASKED IF THAT WAS US ON RWY 4L. WE SAID YES. THEN HE REPLIED, 'I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU RWY 9L,' THEN HE CLRED US FOR TKOF ON RWY 4L.
