Narrative:

Xferred to cms approach. ATC did not state radar OTS. Non radar approach was not NOTAM'ed in dispatch release. During descent, received visual tcasi alert and followed by audio alert. Captain stopped descent and maneuvered airplane to avoid collision. We never saw other aircraft. To avoid in future, upgrade E120 tcasi. VFR traffic should require ATC contact in non radar environment.

CAPT STOPPED DSCNT AND MANEUVERED AIRPLANE TO AVOID COLLISION. WE NEVER SAW OTHER ACFT. TO AVOID IN FUTURE, UPGRADE E120 TCASI. VFR TFC SHOULD REQUIRE ATC CONTACT IN NON RADAR ENVIRONMENT.
